Introduction
Look, we get it - privacy policies can be a real snooze-fest. But here's the thing: we actually care about your data and want you to know exactly what happens with it. At Emberlyn Quintavix Architecture, we've been designing spaces since day one with transparency and trust as our foundation, and that extends to how we handle your personal information.
This policy applies to anyone who visits our website, reaches out for a consultation, or works with us on a project. We're based in Toronto, Ontario, and we follow all Canadian privacy laws including PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act).
What Information We Collect
Personal Details You Give Us
When you fill out our contact form or send us an email, we'll collect stuff like your name, email address, phone number, and whatever details you share about your project. Sometimes clients tell us their budget range, property address, or timeline - basically whatever you're comfortable sharing to help us understand what you're looking for.
Technical Stuff
Like most websites, ours automatically picks up some technical info when you visit - things like your IP address, browser type, device you're using, and which pages you check out. We use this to make sure the site works properly and to understand what content people actually find useful.
Project Information
If we end up working together, we'll keep records of our meetings, your design preferences, site photos, contracts, and all the documentation that goes into bringing an architectural project to life. This is standard practice and necessary for us to do our job right.
How We Use Your Information
We're not out here selling your data or anything shady like that. Here's what we actually do with it:
- Respond to your inquiries and schedule consultations
- Provide architectural services and manage your project
- Send you project updates, design drafts, and important documents
- Process payments and maintain financial records
- Improve our website and understand how people use it
- Stay compliant with legal and regulatory requirements
- Occasionally share news about our studio or relevant industry updates (but only if you've said it's cool)
We won't bombard you with marketing emails. If we do send updates, there's always an easy way to unsubscribe.
Data Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Our website uses SSL encryption (that little lock icon in your browser), and we store sensitive data on secure servers with restricted access.
That said, no system is 100% bulletproof. We do our best, but we can't guarantee absolute security - that's just being honest. We regularly review our security practices and update them as needed.
We keep your personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes we collected it, or as required by law. For active projects, that means throughout the duration of our engagement and for several years after for legal and warranty purposes.
Your Rights
Under Canadian privacy law, you've got some important rights when it comes to your personal data:
Access
You can ask us what personal information we have about you.
Correction
If something's wrong or outdated, let us know and we'll fix it.
Deletion
You can request that we delete your information (with some legal exceptions).
Withdrawal
You can withdraw consent for certain uses of your data at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, just shoot us an email at info@emberlynquintavix.info. We'll respond within 30 days (usually much faster).
Questions or Concerns?
If you've got questions about this privacy policy or how we handle your data, we're here to chat. Seriously - we'd rather you ask than worry.

Policy Updates: We might update this privacy policy from time to time as our practices evolve or laws change. When we do, we'll update the date at the top and post the new version here. For major changes, we'll try to give you a heads up via email if we have your contact info.
